| Making A Purchase Adopting a Donkey Online could not be easier. Just browse our site, and click on the donkey that you wish to sponsor and put it into your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit/debit card payments online. If you are adopting from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. The adoption fee includes a donational element. We accept Mastercard, Visa and their derivatives. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Delivery Information Postage & Packing charges are included in the price of an adoption if you live in the UK. In the EU a charge of £3.00 will be added to cover the higher cost of postage. Outside the UK and EU, a charge of £4.00 will be added. |
| Delivery Schedule We aim to deliver within 14 days from receipt of your order but please allow a further 7 days before querying non-delivery. Overseas orders may take longer to be delivered. |
| Adoption Donkey DVD's and Toy Please note that The Donkey Sanctuary and The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children & Donkeys act as collecting agents for and on behalf of the trading subsidiary Donkey World Limited where an Adoption Donkey DVD or Toy has been supplied alongside your adoption. Donkey World Limited is the wholly owned trading subsidiary of The Donkey Sanctuary and 100% of its profit is gifted back to The Donkey Sanctuary at the end of each year. | Guarantee Your satisfaction is important to us. Should your adoption pack fail to meet your expectations, simply return it to us within 14 days. We guarantee to replace it or refund the purchase price. You also have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any goods within 7 working days after receipt of goods. |

| Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
